Once a blast furnace shuts down it costs 10s of millions to start up again. Yes Redcar is doomed. The local MP, Vera Baird, should have done more to help save it but she was too busy pushing her radical feminist agenda.

You are right Underblog, a vote for anything other than Labour or Conservative is a wasted vote!
Even with all the hype that Nick Clegg is up there with the two main parties, does not mean he will lead the next government. Yes, he would have input if there was to be a hung parliament. But how long would that last? A hung parliament would fall apart very quickly and another election would have to take place with a year or so.

It is vitally important that we vote for one of the two main parties and that party for me is the Conservatives as they are the only party will address the massive debt run up by Gordon Brown’s government.

As an additional thought…what a devasting effect Nick Clegg’s party would have on the country. They want the Euro in place and a lot more migrants. We can’t care for the ones we have already! Ask Greece and Spain what they think of the Euro……it has brought these countries to their knees.

It’s a pretty simple distinction between local contests and the election nationally. Three-way marginal seats are few and far between. In most constituencies, voting for anyone other than the top two parties locally is a wasted vote in terms of affecting the outcome. (It’s a deeply undesirable situation that disenfranchises millions, and not one Conservatives would change. )

Nationally, it’s quite clear following the debate that three parties are major players, and the possibility of a balanced parliament means that extra Lib Dem MPs will lead to a higher probability of extra Lib Dem influence and the implementation of more Lib Dem policies.

Any financial loading, on people, firms or the companies, results to not to the desirable conflict, and causes tearing away of a society. It is necessary to search for reserves, non-standard economic decisions. It is necessary to think whence to take money. Will be more correct. If the government will preserve a today’s financial condition, but to cut down it is impossible will lead only to for opposite actions and the purposes.

Has RBF been closed for the green house emitions credits that the goverment/Tata will recieve? And Tata would not like to sell RBF to a Competitor who would use it to put pressure on Tata on the Slab/Ingots production line in the UK.
Tata engineers based in england Helped Tata in India redevelop 2 new Blast furnaces in India to make them more efficient than redcar, so what is the plan gradually close down the remainder of the Blast furnaces owned by Tata and then produce steel from India only; charging what they like and gradually taking steel production to India only taking and using our expertise and shutting down the steel Industry totally in the uk & Holland and Leaving the UK a crippled country. They will not answer any questions about the future of the Steel Industry they are looking after No1 India sod anywhere else? Is this correct only they can answer this Valuable Question but will they

What goes on with bullying campaigners?

Some years ago, Mr Tim Field was forced to climb down regarding complaints of bullying that his organmisation received from junior teachers in Oxford, which he then published a summary of. All of this is on the web, but I am unable to find that the substance of the original complaints of bullying was as squarely addressed as Mr Field’s comments. (If anyone has information to the contrary, perhaps they would share it)

Now we have the head of another antibully charity “under pressure”, having revealed she has received complaints of bullying. Both times, the employer was a layer of government.

Perhaps she was naive in going public; however, those who have never suffered bullying cannot appreciate how it feels and how it drives one to campaign aganist it.

I have also become aware that an antibully campaign head has been criticised by what is presumably othodox opinion in this sector.

The irony of all this is choking, but the important thing is that bullying can end careers – or even lives. I am much more interested in the truth of the cases than spin by any party, political or other. What harm to honest people can be done by openly enquiring after the truth?

I have just heard Anne Snelgrove supposedly defending her position and that of Gordon Brown on Radio 4.If Anne Snelgrove is Gordon Browns pps and his political advisor, then please, we need to get rid of both these people today! Anne Snelgrove is in my humble opinion totally irresponsible. I would not ask her to organise a drink in a brewery! I have no idea how this woman got where she is but she lacks any ability to communicate clearly and has limited morals judging by what she said on the radio this morning! I have never been a fan of Brown and I can believe this bullying story. I find it amusing that Anne Snelgrove expects the victims to come forward direrct to Number 10 so that this issue can be sorted! Why would victims complain to a bully that they are being bullied?! This womans stupidity know no bounds!
